Refund Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, billing corrections, and subscription-related disputes are handled for Solstice memberships and subscription services.

This Refund Policy should be read together with the Solstice Subscription Terms. If this Refund Policy conflicts with the Subscription Terms, the provision that provides the greater protection required by applicable law will control.

1. Digital Subscription Service

Solstice provides digital subscription services that may include access to the Solstice Discord server, text and voice channels, trading announcements, market commentary, newsletters, educational materials, portfolio review sessions, software features, data, analysis, and related content.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, access to the Service begins shortly after payment is successfully processed and the applicable subscription permissions are activated.

Because subscribers may receive immediate access to digital content, community channels, proprietary information, and subscription benefits, payments are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except as expressly stated in this Refund Policy or required by applicable law.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time.

Cancellation stops future automatic renewals and recurring charges. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must complete the cancellation before your next scheduled renewal date.

You may cancel through an available:

  • Account-management page;
  • Stripe customer portal;
  • Online cancellation link; or
  • Other cancellation method designated by Solstice.

For subscriptions purchased online, Solstice will provide an online cancellation method that does not require you to call or speak with a representative.

A cancellation is effective when it is successfully submitted through the designated cancellation method and confirmed by Solstice or its payment processor.

You should retain a copy of your cancellation confirmation for your records.

3. Access After Cancellation

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period.

After cancellation:

  • You will not be charged for the next renewal period;
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the period for which you have already paid; and
  • Your access to the Service will end when that paid billing period expires.

For example, if you cancel a monthly membership in the middle of the month, you may generally continue accessing the Service until the end of that monthly billing period.

If you cancel an annual membership before the annual term ends, you may generally continue accessing the Service until the end of the prepaid annual term.

Cancellation does not ordinarily result in an immediate loss of access unless:

  • You request immediate termination;
  • A refund is approved on the condition that access ends immediately;
  • Your access is terminated for violating the Subscription Terms;
  • Continued access creates a security, legal, payment, or community-safety risk; or
  • Applicable law requires a different result.

4. General No-Refund Rule

Except as expressly stated in this Refund Policy or required by applicable law, all subscription payments are final and non-refundable after access to the Service has been granted.

Solstice does not ordinarily provide full or prorated refunds or account credits for:

  • Partially used monthly or annual billing periods;
  • Unused subscription time;
  • Unused Discord access;
  • Unread newsletters or announcements;
  • Unattended voice sessions;
  • Unused portfolio review sessions;
  • Failure to use available subscription features;
  • A change of mind after purchasing;
  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date;
  • Dissatisfaction with trading results;
  • Trading or investment losses;
  • Failure to earn a profit;
  • Inability to act on a signal;
  • Disagreement with market commentary;
  • Differences between actual results and examples, testimonials, or expectations;
  • Temporary interruptions caused by a user’s device, internet connection, broker, Discord, Stripe, or another third party; or
  • Removal or suspension resulting from the user’s violation of the Subscription Terms.

The subscription fee is paid for access to the Service and is not contingent on any particular trading, investment, financial, or educational result.

5. Circumstances That May Qualify for a Refund

A refund or billing correction may be considered in the following circumstances:

5.1 Duplicate Charge

You were charged more than once for the same subscription and billing period because of a payment-processing or system error.

5.2 Incorrect Charge Amount

The amount charged was different from the price clearly disclosed and accepted at checkout, excluding properly disclosed taxes, currency-conversion charges, bank fees, or later price changes that took effect after legally sufficient notice.

5.3 Charge After Effective Cancellation

You completed cancellation before the applicable renewal deadline, received or can reasonably demonstrate confirmation of cancellation, and were nevertheless charged for a later renewal period.

5.4 Failure to Provide Purchased Access

Solstice failed to provide the purchased subscription access because of an error directly within Solstice’s control, and Solstice was unable to restore access within a reasonable period after receiving notice.

A temporary outage, isolated delay, or problem caused by Discord, Stripe, a broker, an internet provider, a user device, or another third party does not automatically qualify for a refund.

5.5 Unauthorized Transaction

The transaction was made without authorization by the account holder or payment-method owner.

Solstice may require reasonable information necessary to investigate the transaction and may refer the matter to Stripe, the applicable financial institution, or law enforcement where appropriate.

5.6 Solstice-Initiated Discontinuation

Solstice permanently discontinues a paid Service before the end of your current billing period for reasons unrelated to your violation of the Subscription Terms.

In that circumstance, Solstice may provide a prorated refund, account credit, substitute service, or another remedy permitted by applicable law.

5.7 Refund Required by Law

A refund is required under an applicable consumer-protection law, court order, regulatory requirement, or other legal obligation that cannot lawfully be waived.

6. Circumstances That Do Not Normally Qualify for a Refund

The following circumstances do not normally qualify for a refund:

  • You did not use the Service;
  • You did not join or regularly visit the Discord server;
  • You did not read announcements or newsletters;
  • You did not attend available voice sessions or portfolio reviews;
  • You purchased the wrong plan but received the plan shown at checkout;
  • You changed your trading strategy, financial goals, or personal circumstances;
  • You expected different trading results;
  • You lost money while trading or investing;
  • You disagreed with a signal, announcement, opinion, or educational discussion;
  • You were unable to enter or exit a trade at a referenced price;
  • You did not receive a notification because of your Discord, email, device, notification, or internet settings;
  • Your broker rejected, delayed, or differently executed an order;
  • You failed to cancel before the renewal date;
  • You failed to update an expired or incorrect payment method;
  • You were dissatisfied with a third-party platform;
  • You were temporarily unable to access a third-party service;
  • Your account was suspended or terminated because of account sharing, content redistribution, payment abuse, harassment, fraud, or another violation of the Subscription Terms; or
  • You requested a refund because the Service did not recover or exceed the subscription price.

7. Refund Request Window

Except where a longer period is required by applicable law, a refund or billing-correction request must generally be submitted within seven calendar days after the charge at issue.

Requests involving an allegedly unauthorized charge, a charge made after an effective cancellation, or another right that cannot legally be limited by this seven-day period may be submitted within the applicable legal, financial-institution, or payment-network deadline.

Submitting a request within the applicable period does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or billing correction, submit a request through the contact page on the Solstice website.

Your request should include:

  • The name associated with the subscription;
  • The email address associated with the subscription;
  • Your Discord username or user ID, where applicable;
  • The date and amount of the charge;
  • The subscription plan involved;
  • A clear explanation of the reason for the request;
  • Any relevant cancellation confirmation, receipt, invoice, or screenshot; and
  • Any other information reasonably necessary to locate and review the transaction.

Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, brokerage credentials, bank-account passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or other highly sensitive information.

Solstice may request additional information to verify your identity, confirm account ownership, investigate the transaction, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.

9. Review of Refund Requests

Solstice will review refund requests individually and may consider:

  • Whether the request was submitted within the applicable period;
  • Whether subscription access was granted or used;
  • Whether the charge was properly disclosed and authorized;
  • Whether cancellation was completed before the renewal deadline;
  • Whether the issue resulted from Solstice, the user, or a third party;
  • Whether Solstice had a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue;
  • The user’s payment and refund history;
  • Evidence of fraud, abuse, account sharing, or policy violations; and
  • Applicable legal requirements.

Solstice may approve a full refund, partial refund, prorated refund, account credit, billing correction, or denial, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Any discretionary refund, credit, or exception granted in one situation does not require Solstice to provide the same remedy in another situation.

10. Approved Refunds

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.

Solstice generally will not issue a refund to a different payment card, bank account, digital wallet, or individual.

After Solstice or Stripe initiates an approved refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer, payment method, payment network, and jurisdiction.

If the original payment method is no longer available, Solstice may require additional verification and may provide another legally permitted remedy.

If a refund is approved for the current subscription period, Solstice may immediately terminate access to the Service and remove the associated Discord roles or permissions.

11. Partial and Prorated Refunds

Solstice does not ordinarily provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

A prorated refund may be provided when:

  • Required by applicable law;
  • Solstice permanently discontinues the purchased Service before the paid period ends;
  • A prolonged failure directly within Solstice’s control prevents delivery of a substantial portion of the purchased Service; or
  • Solstice determines that a prorated refund is an appropriate discretionary resolution.

Any prorated amount may be calculated based on the unused portion of the applicable paid billing period, less any non-refundable amounts permitted by law.

12. Plan Changes, Upgrades, and Downgrades

The price and effective date of an upgrade or downgrade will be disclosed when the change is requested or processed.

Depending on the available billing configuration:

  • An upgrade may take effect immediately and result in a prorated charge;
  • A downgrade may take effect at the beginning of the next billing period;
  • Existing subscription credits may be applied to a new plan; or
  • The current plan may remain active until the end of the paid term.

Changing plans does not automatically create a right to a cash refund.

13. Promotional Prices, Discounts, and Free Trials

Promotional prices, coupons, discounts, credits, and trial periods may be subject to additional terms disclosed at the time of the offer.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotional value has no cash value;
  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Unused promotional value is not refundable;
  • A discounted subscription remains subject to this Refund Policy; and
  • A free or discounted trial may convert into a paid recurring subscription if that conversion was clearly disclosed and you did not cancel before the stated deadline.

Cancellation of a trial or promotional plan stops future charges but does not ordinarily result in payment for unused promotional value.

14. Termination for Violation of the Terms

Solstice may suspend or terminate access for violations of the Subscription Terms, including:

  • Account sharing;
  • Unauthorized copying or redistribution;
  • Recording restricted content;
  • Fraud or payment abuse;
  • Harassment or community disruption;
  • Circumvention of access controls;
  • Misuse of Solstice signals or proprietary materials; or
  • Other material violations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, termination for your violation of the Subscription Terms does not entitle you to a refund or credit.

This provision does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.

15. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, you are encouraged to contact Solstice promptly so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Nothing in this Refund Policy prevents you from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge through your bank, card issuer, Stripe, or another payment provider.

However, knowingly filing a false, misleading, or fraudulent chargeback may constitute payment abuse and may result in account suspension, termination, collection activity, or other remedies permitted by law.

Chargeback fee. If you initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal on a charge without first contacting Solstice and allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, or if a chargeback is ultimately determined to be invalid, unwarranted, or made in bad faith, you agree to pay Solstice a chargeback fee of one hundred United States dollars (US $100). This fee is in addition to the disputed amount and any fees, penalties, or costs charged to Solstice by its payment processor or a financial institution in connection with the dispute.

The chargeback fee compensates Solstice for the administrative time, processing costs, and payment-network charges caused by the dispute. Solstice may recover the disputed amount and the chargeback fee through any lawful means, including re-invoicing the original payment method, offsetting other amounts owed, or referring the balance to collections, and may suspend or terminate your access until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.

A chargeback does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You should separately complete the applicable cancellation process to prevent future renewal charges.

16. Changes to This Refund Policy

Solstice may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in the Service, billing practices, legal requirements, or operational needs.

When changes are made, Solstice will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits or requires otherwise. When legally required, Solstice will provide advance notice of a material change.

The version of the Refund Policy in effect when a charge was made will generally govern that charge, subject to applicable law.

17. Legal Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

If the laws of your jurisdiction provide a mandatory cancellation, refund, cooling-off, or other consumer right, that right will apply to the extent required by law.

18. Contact

Questions, cancellation concerns, refund requests, and billing-correction requests may be submitted through the contact page on the Solstice website.
